Modern young men are not so hung up with the age of their dates, and are increasingly turning to older women to satisfy their libidos. This explosion of MILF and Cougar worship stems from the popularity of television shows like Desperate Housewives, Sex In The City, and Weeds. Cougars are happy with this new outcome, because it gives them a much larger pool of young virile dudes to select from. All is good!
However, one should not jump into the deep end without looking at both the pros and cons of dating older women. Just like everything, there is a flip-side to the coin. I will examine the benefits and possible pitfalls of wooing worldly women.
First the pluses. Older women are more experienced. The main experience that most men are interested in is sexual. However, you will find that these women are just a lot more fun to be around. You can actually have an intelligent conversation with them (as opposed to most women in their early 20's). But for most men, the sexual angle will be the strongest. Women in their 30's and 40's are more interesting to be around, and they are a lot more adventurous in the bedroom. They know what they want, and want what they like!
Second, a MILF probably has her finances in order. She will likely have her own place, a vehicle, and a job. This takes the pressure of the young man, who usually needs to shoulder the burden of a lot of the costs when dating young women. This frees up his cash for more important things – like new and exotic sex toys to try on his MILF girlfriend.
Lastly, the best thing about dating an older woman is that she will be mature (in theory). A lot of men dislike dating young women because they can be flighty, immature, moody, and given to drama. Older women have been through all that crud, and usually have a much more laid-back look at life and dating. This can be a welcome change after dating high-maintenance young women.
Of course every silver lining has a gray cloud lurking inside. The issue with many MILF's is that they usually do not have the cutesy little anorexic body that many young men seem to seek out. That can be a good thing or a bad thing. If you are a breast man, most MILF's do indeed have larger boobs, but along with that usually comes some other padding. In most cases it is not all that much, and in fact can be a welcome change to having bones digging into you during sex. The good news is that most women are now turning to various forms of exercise to try to keep their bodies toned. If you find one of these, you have the best of all worlds.
A second disadvantage is that because MILF's are used to being in control, and may be a bit bossy initially. If this happens, then just talk about it before it gets under your skin too much. Neither party in a healthy relationship should always be in charge, so striking a good balance is a mature stance to take, and will strike a chord with her that you are more mature than your age might reflect. If the age difference is too great however, it will take a special woman indeed not to mother you. If you end up in a mothering relationship, that will be just too smothering.
The social stigma of a past generations is gone. An older woman with a younger man is totally acceptable now. All the barriers are gone.
